Covid Video

My daughter and I worked on a little project during the beginning of Covid.  The video is below if you would like to see it.  This Covid thing was a shock to all of us and it's crazy how they can completely shut down a country just like that!  I'm sure there are a lot of things that we weren't told and it has been a crazy and confusing time.  

For the most part people were coming together and helping one another.  There were a few who reacted the complete opposite and got angry and hateful, but my daughter and I wanted to focus this project on the good.  Folks were home with their families, playing games, exercising outside together.  There were no soccer games, music lessons, play dates, etc... But this also meant there was no Senior year for our class of 2020.  This falls deeply close to my heart because my daughter is a senior.  She was robbed of her last season of Lacrosse (and they had a badass team), no prom, no graduation, no grad night and doesn't get to say goodbye to her friends and teachers at school.  And now they are saying her first year of college will be online.  Oh, how my heart aches for her!!!  She has good days and bad days.  We try to stay positive and keep ourselves busy.

Life will probably look a lot different due to this pandemic moving forward.  I choose to look at the positive that I get more time with my baby girl!
